This Peony sugar bowl by the English pottery Booths, the Staffordshire maker that graced English tables for more than a century, arrived at our atelier with its cobalt-blue decoration, scroll handles and original maker’s mark on the base: Booths, Peony, Made in England.

Now home to a 400 g handcrafted candle, this porcelain piece stands 14 cm tall. The fine crazing in the glaze is not a flaw, but a signature of time, giving it a character that cannot be reproduced.

Once this piece finds its home, there won’t be another quite like it.
